Lions Mane colonize quickly but can be prone to drying out if the ambient humidity is low. Mist the block it generously to maintain high humidity.

Fruiting Blocks typically ship within 3-5 days, but can take up to 10 days before shipping. If you do not use the block immediately, it can be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks before use.

Mushrooms release spores when they fully developed. People with allergies or compromised immune systems may want to consider putting blocks outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Spores can sometimes cause respiratory irritation. In rare cases, spores may also cause irritation for some non-allergic or non-immunocompromised people. You can reduce overall spore load significantly by harvesting mushrooms just before they reach maturity.
