Fruiting Blocks typically ship within 3-5 days, but can take up to 10 days before shipping. If you do not use the block immediately, it can be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks before use.

Gourmet mushrooms are best when cooked thoroughly. If this is your first time eating this species of gourmet mushroom, it is best to start with a small amount to check for allergies, even when cooked.

Mushrooms release spores when they fully developed. People with allergies or compromised immune systems may want to consider putting blocks outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Spores can sometimes cause respiratory irritation. In rare cases, spores may also cause irritation for some non-allergic or non-immunocompromised people. You can reduce overall spore load significantly by harvesting mushrooms just before they reach maturity.
